“Transform yourself to transform the world”- Grace Lee Boggs
My practice
I’m a therapist grounded in anti-oppressive, anti-capitalist, and liberatory values. I work with both individuals and couples, including people practicing or exploring non-monogamy. A lot of my work is about untangling the ways our relationships have been shaped by systems like colonization, cisheteronormativity, and capitalism, and making room for something that actually fits.
I believe in the possibility of transformational healing for both us as individuals and for the collective. In our work together, I’m interested in how survival strategies show up in relationships, identity, nervous system responses, and daily life—and how they might soften or shift over time. I aim to offer a space that feels steady, collaborative, and affirming, especially for queer, trans, and gender-diverse folks across the lifespan.
I practice virtually and in person at my office in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle. My dog, Moonpie, works as my co-therapist. He is a gentle and calm dog, who loves his job!
My approach:
I draw from Lifespan Integration, EMDR, and NARM to support trauma processing and nervous system regulation in a way that is both structured and deeply attuned. My approach resists the pressure to treat healing as a form of productivity under capitalism. Instead, I center pacing, consent, and the body’s inherent intelligence.
This work often involves gently engaging implicit memory, attachment dynamics, and survival strategies that developed in response not only to personal experiences, but to broader systems of harm. We approach survival strategies with curiosity and respect.
